Happy place(winter mode)
Today is a good day. The first snow of the year is a good one. Especially when it dumps hard enuf to get out the XC ski's. After an abbreviated workload at my day job today I was free to go about 11am and immediately drove out to our local state park. Visited my happy place and was pumped to see someone had already spun a lap on the trails! So the transition period between bikes and ski's is over and now its possible to do both. Sometimes on the same day!

When I see snow in trees I try to resist taking pictures but cant help myself. I must have several hundred in my library and almost every one is from this park. I did manage to cut down the number of pics I take tho...
I am very exited to hit the trails for the first time and it should be just a matter of hours before our local systems get groomed. I'm a classical guy. No skate skiing for me. It looks like fun and is a ton faster but I am not on the trails to see how fast I can go. I love being there and ski to just take it all in. No racing, no zone 5, no competition. Just hanging in the woods.
I love just hanging anywhere.
