Pending Death of Fall

With the pending death of fall just around the corner I spent most of the day playing hooky yesterday. I noticed on this mornings park ride (in a car) that a billion leaves were falling and the trees will soon be empty. I plan on a bike ride at some point today but the wind might just push me into the woods. That's not a bad thing. I had a blast riding this years Topfuel 9.8 but my rides on that machine are counting down. Just a few more before its back on the salesfloor. Its not long before my bike stable is in full winter mode.

Even tho it was a bit hazy I did make my yearly pilgrimage to the Parnell Tower. I wish I could have rode a bike out there as I usually do but sometimes you just need to work with what short time you have so I drove. I just did not want to miss out.

With that ritual down the next to hit is Halloween. That's going to be a busy day as I plan on cross racin' in the morn, then off to trick or treat with the grandkids late afternoon, then maybe out to Greenbush were a few are camping and maybe incorporate a little MTB'ing with that visit. That's a pretty ambitious day and I am sure its not going to go as smooth as I just stated. I'll leave you with a few pics from the tower yesterday.
