Woke up Saturday morn in the middle of a dream. Was dreamin' that someone dropped off a beer trailer in my front yard. Imagine a look on my face when I looked out to see this......this must be what Heaven is like.
Friday nite had me and the wife off to some fine dining and taking in the sites of DANOville. I've been crossing this bridge twice a day for my entire life but seldom see it work. A sailboat gave us the thrill tonite. I am amazed on how well my Blackberry takes pics. I always take pride that all my best pics were taken with a Walmart 99 dollar camera. But this is taking that theory to the next level. I do not carry a camera anymore. I just carry my phone\cameracomputer\calculator\mp3\alarm clock\radio. Theres more, just cant think of them right now.
On bike related stuff, every summer I deal with riding with a calorie deficit. Saturday had my first explosion of 2009. About half way thru the group ride I blew up big time. I popped so bad I could not stop for breakfast. I knew if I stopped I would not make it the 20 or so miles home, even with a few pancakes in me. Once I blow up that bad its too late for food so I rode past the restaurant and soft peddled home solo. I rode so slow that the group stopped for breakfast and I only beat them back to the lot by two minutes. But thats how I lose weight. Remember this day?
I had hoped to be racing by now but I think thats a month away still. Except for the track. Hopefully I can get off work early enough to go Tuesday.
